At the beginning of this year, I made a list of some things I wanted to accomplish. One of those things was to start a blog. Another was to create something to go on the blank wall in our half bath. The wall has been empty since we stripped the wallpaper and repainted it 10 years ago. I've had this package of nine, little 4"x 4" canvases for about half that time. Procrastination is my specialty.
With time running out for 2009, I decided to just get 'er done. I used several, different acrylics: Golden's and Dr. Martin's
Iridescent for the fronts and
FolkArt for the sides.
I used walnut ink for the lettering. "Love" was done with a Pilot Parallel Pen.
I knew I wanted to do the Fruit of the Spirit from
Galatians 5:22-23. How do I know if I'm abiding in Him? If I'm obedient to His Word and if I'm increasingly producing love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
After all these years, it feels great to have finally done this. The funny thing is, it took less than a day. Now, on to signing up for that
