Calligraphy Flourish Friday - Thinking of You

This is a snippet from a card I designed this past week. So many people are going through difficult times. 

Thinking of you Dear Family and Friends.

You may recognize the background from my previous posts about the Gelli Arts Printing Plate HERE and HERE.  The lettering was done with a pointed pen and added to the design via Photoshop.

Calligraphy Flourish Friday - Envelopes

 Greetings from frigid Indy!

I've spent most of the week working on wedding invitation envelopes, and I haven't had much time for playing.  Thanks to Jane Royal's blog, I did decide to spend some Christmas money on THIS.  I look forward to receiving and playing with it. :)  In the meantime, here are two envelopes I did this week.

Both envelopes were done with a Zebra G nib. For the one in the top image, I used Moon Palace Sumi. For the one in the bottom image, I mixed and used Winsor & Newton Designers Gouaches.

(Naples Yellow and Permanent White)
