Flourish Friday - IAMPETH Silent Auction

This is one of two pieces I am donating for the IAMPETH silent auction which will be held tonight at the convention.  (I am composing this Flourish Friday the night before I leave for Milwaukee, and it should post automatically while I'm away.) I hope to share all the wonders of the convention in the weeks and months ahead!

Trust in the Lord

I always get myself into trouble when I only rule a baseline for italic lettering. I need a waistline too (what girl doesn't want a nice waistline?!). I started off just the size I wanted, but by the end I had slowly but surely increased the lettering....

height. sigh....

UPDATE: I did the embossing by cutting out my lettering from a piece of bristol board, and then blind embossing. Check out my April 29, 2009 post about it here.
