From my family to your family...Merry Christmas!
This year's Christmas card incorporated the embossing techniques I learned in a Sharon Hanse workshop. I learned the lettering style I used on the envelope from Gwen Weaver at the IAMPETH convention this past summer.
Unfortunately, the embossing doesn't show up very well in these scans.
I noticed a lot of peace signs in the retail shops this year.
Peace sign ornaments, peace sign holiday dishes, etc.
I am all for peace and definitely want to be a peacemaker, but I know that true, authentic, eternal peace came wrapped in cloths and was placed in a manger. It's Jesus victory over the cross and my sin that gives me true peace.
It's almost time for a New Year and a new bottle of Dr. Martin's Bleedproof White!
Wishing you joy this Christmas Day. May we all flourish in 2010.
Hugs and love,
Jane
Indeed, true peace comes in and through the Prince of Peace!
