Tom and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary on Tuesday. Woohoo!!
This is a snippet from a sample piece I did last year using our wedding information.
We snuck off to the mountains this week in order to celebrate.
Fall is our favorite season, and that's why we decided to marry in October. We enjoyed a few days in the beautiful Smoky Mountains of Tennessee hiking, relaxing and of course eating! :)
Wow...Time certainly does fly.
That was then.
(I assure you that puffy sleeves were quite fashionable in 1985!)
This is now.
I am filled with gratitude knowing what a gift God has given me in Tom.
My mom always told me, "Jane Ann, you got a good one." (I think she was afraid I might blow it!)
The past 25 years have been filled with both blessing and heartache, and I wouldn't want to face the next 25 years without Tom by my side.
He adds the laughter and flourish to my daily life.

And, yes, I remember the poofy sleeves from the '80s.
