Hey there! Thought you'd like to know your post about the Mail Art Across the World project inspired a post about it on my site, with credit going to you... thank you for sharing this with us... the past entries are so stunning and varied and incredible... and now I have to run get my pen and ink and get busy! Thank you! xoxo
Funnily enough it makes for a beautiful photograph! I'm sat here thinking ooooh imagine that going in your eye. Glad I wear glasses to work! Have a lovely weekend, Claire xx
I love calligraphy and enjoy learning new things to incorporate with my lettering. After many years of owning a professional calligraphy and design studio, I closed and dissolved my business in December of 2019.
I enjoy calligraphy as a personal interest.
In addition to calligraphy, I enjoy journaling, traveling, baking, reading and watching Purdue University basketball. I am married to my best friend and we have two great kids.
Feel free to email me about my work, but please do not take, download, or copy my work without my permission.
It happens to all of us! The pen holder looks beautiful. Is that a Bill Lilly?

Hi Jane!
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm curious about that beautiful pen staff. I'd love to see the whole thing!
Funny, Jane! You just do not know your own strength:) Beautiful letters though up to the point of the incident.
ReplyDeleteThat happened to me at the Spencerian Saga and part of the pen flew across the room. Michael was not too impressed! ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for always bringing a smile to Fridays!
ReplyDeleteYes, but look at the beautiful 'The' that you got out of the nib!
ReplyDeleteI'm curious too about the pen holder. And yes, the 'the' is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend.
Personally, I think it was a design flaw in the nib! :D
