Calligraphy Flourish Friday - Sasquatch and the Scruffy Brush

I have been having fun with this scruffy brush. It probably has a proper name, but I've just been calling it  "Scruffy."  I bought it at the Calligraphy Guild of Indiana's White Elephant sale this past January.  It was one of the many wonderful items donated by CGI's founder, Juana Silcox.

I used Scruffy on this piece as well.  Our son, Matt, must complete a practicum this summer in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan as part of his Wildlife Biology major.  We've been teasing him for months that they're really just going up there to look for Sasquatch all summer - just like one of those nutty reality t.v. shows. :)

I uploaded the design at Zazzle and had a T-shirt made as a birthday gift for Matt. We celebrated his 20th birthday last weekend, and he loved his new shirt!

Happy Friday.
Go forth and flourish!
