Calligraphy Flourish Friday -Psalm 56:9


Hello friends.
Here is a quick piece done in Photoshop. (Wow! Did I just say that?) I borrowed parts from a couple of existing pieces.  This verse is a strong and comforting reminder to me.
We packed and moved Rachel and Matt up to Purdue yesterday. The summer went by so fast. Matt is there to stay. Rach came back, but only for the weekend. Other areas of my life seem disorganized. My studio is in chaos right now with several different things going on. I like things neat and orderly in my life, so I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed.
....but this I know
God is for me.

Maybe you're feeling overwhelmed today too.
I hope you find comfort in this verse.

    Yes, I know that overwhelmed feeling, this time of the year, all too well. I do find your piece very comforting and the colors are very peaceful ~ so thanks! I needed that too!

    Beautiful flourishing, Jane! I like the decoration, too, and those roses are splendid - they're very similar to those in armorial bearings, so I've come across them in heraldry. It goes without saying that the quotation from the Psalms is one that always gives comfort and it therefore makes a very apt display plaque.
    I hope it will soon bring calm and organisation back to your life.
