I'm so use to saying, "Enjoy your weekend!" but it's only Wednesday :) .....still.....
Go forth and flourish!

  1. Good to see you posting again Jane. Wow, fabulous as always. I'm curious, approximately how long does it take you to write out a page like this (including any warm-up time)? Linda E.

  2. Hi, Linda! Thank you for your visit and comment. I appreciate your encouragement and long term support of my work. :) When working in this journal, I only do one stanza at a time. I'd say one stanza takes me 40 minutes. The paper in this journal is extremely fibrous (and frustrating!) I came to calligraphy through the Ugly Handwriting door, so I work very slowly compared to most. I must carefully form my letters, and even more so with tiny fibers continually getting caught in the nib. Hope this info helps.

  3. Your hand is SO gorgeous! I dabble in calligraphy, not so much anymore, nor my watercolor painting, as I have an unsteady hand most of the time due to medications for asthma... AND you write The Word ... glorious!

I appreciate comments and love to hear from my readers!
